Paradores tenders certified wood-pellet supply for three Spanish establishments

According to AVEBIOM, Paradores de Turismo de España has put out to tender the supply of certified wood pellets for three of its establishments.   • Parador de Teruel — €91,839 per year excluding VAT, as reported
  • Parador de Gredos (Ávila) — €82,500 per year excluding VAT, as reported
  • Parador de Mazagón (Huelva) — €39,930 per year excluding VAT, as reported

According to AVEBIOM, the base tender budget is €214,269 per year excluding VAT. The association reports an estimated framework value of €857,076. That figure covers one initial year plus up to three annual extensions, as summarised by AVEBIOM.

According to AVEBIOM, all pellet under the tender must meet ENplus® A1 or an equivalent standard under ENplus® ST 1001:2022, as required in the tender documents the association describes.

Reception controls, as summarised

According to AVEBIOM, reception controls before filling a silo include an identified sample, temperature below 40 °C, moisture at or below 10%, and traceability through delivery notes and control samples.
