AURORAL Summit was organised last November to bring together experts, researchers, policy-makers and representatives from various organisations to discuss and share the latest innovations in sustainable development and the digitalisation of European regions. It was a space for dialogue and the exchange of ideas on the future of our communities and the importance of territorial cohesion for the inclusive growth of regions.

The programme highlights where:

• Thematic Panels and Expert Interventions national and international issues such as rural digitalisation, energy transition and cohesion policies;
• ‘Connecting Regional Innovation’ Project Exhibition – a space dedicated to innovative projects from the region, with cutting-edge technological solutions to meet current and future challenges;
• Presentation of results and case studies showing the impact of technologies on regional development;
• Debates and Round Tables with the participation of political decision-makers, academics and representatives of various sectors, addressing the effects of European and national initiatives on the growth of our communities;
• Networking sessions, encouraging collaboration and the sharing of good practices among all participants.
